Today in Daily 5 we read myths about Artemis and Apollo who are twin children of Zeus and Leto. In math, we worked on using factor trees to identify Greatest Common Factor between two numbers. This is useful when you are trying to simplify a fraction. It can also help you find prime numbers (a number with two factors, 1, and itself). Examples of prime numbers are: 3, 17, 5, 2, 11, 13, and 7. In gym, we played a new hockey game, and in social studies, we continued researching Athenian democracy.
