February 5th

Today skating was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather and snow on the rink. A group of boys went this afternoon with Mr. Vanderlinden to help clear the rink, so we will be skating tomorrow morning. Please bring your equipment if you did not bring it today.

In math, we were going over the fractions booklet from last week. We also spent more time working on our essay - Wednesday is now the last day to work on them in class, and in Daily 5 we read a myth about Zeus turning into a white bull and carrying Europa to Crete. There is a white cow in this story, and we suspect that that may have been Io, which is unfortunate because the cow was sacrificed.

Tomorrow is also another Repsol day. We are swimming tomorrow, so bring your swim gear.

At the end of the day we went to the learning commons to do some speed stacking. It was amazing and marvelous!
