Today we learned a new game called 7-Ball. We also talked about our field trip tomorrow to Camp Chief Hector, and we came up with this list of things to bring and not bring and things to do to get ready for the trip:
Jacket - check the forecast to see what type Comfortable footwear - if it is wet wear something waterproof Lunch - litterless OR taking back everything you bring Hat - toque or visored hat to protect from sun Something to do on the bus - NO electronics Sunglasses (optional), sunscreen, bugspray YES - ABP t-shirt or longsleeve or hoodie, NO - ABP sweatpants or collared shirt Extra socks Water bottle Have a good sleep Have a good breakfast Today we continued working on our map of the room. We also continued our novel study and worked on our first independent reading response to a chapter.
The NHL season starts tomorrow! As such, tomorrow is a jersey day for anyone who would like to participate. Thank you to everyone for getting their field trip forms in! The forecast is looking positive for Thursday - here's hoping it stays that way! We started making a map of the classroom by measuring using meter sticks. We started a novel study of Run by Eric Walters.
If you have not brought back your field trip forms, they MUST be back to the school by tomorrow. |
